Saudi businesswomen craft their way to success at Bisat Al-Reeh
This year’s popular Saudi Arabian Bisat al-Reeh festival, a.k.a. “Magic Carpet” festival, has seen the attendance of numerous businesswomen, including female Saudi crafters.
One such crafter, Seba Nazir, told Arab News that she and her friends wished to sell their handmade crochet and cross stitch products. Nazir & Co. did just that, and raised money to go towards the treatment of cancer patients.
Bisat al-Reeh is organised and run by the Saudi National Home Health Care Foundation.
